She is also a specialist in talk therapy/psychodynamic work, Acceptance/Commitment therapy (ACT), trauma work, and behavioral/short-term therapy. She works with adolescents, individuals, couples, and families.
Laird’s published work appears in several books, setting forth treatment approaches and a research-based treatment manual for clinicians published by the American Psychological Association. She has been personally trained by Judith Beck and Marsha Linehan and has seven years of doctoral training in Clinical Psychology practice, scientific research, methodology, and statistical analysis.
